Description

During the construction of the Crossrail underground railway line in Central London, a solution was needed to adequately protect the workers and ensure their safety in the event of any incident requiring evacuation of the site. Workers are tracked underground in different zones using RFID Tags and Readers report their location and movement. The software monitors the tracking data so that alerts can be raised in the event of any failure or activity outside of agreed thresholds. The primary function of the software is to assist during a site evacuation, providing details to emergency services in locating anyone remaining onsite by pinpointing either their current or last known location.
